Big Bend National Park: Cattail Falls

On January 14, Brian and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary. This year, we went out to Alpine and Marathon, Texas, to look at properties to buy (spoiler: we’re not moving out there) and then to hike at Big Bend National Park.

On this journey, we hiked out to Cattail Falls. It was almost 7 miles round-trip, was super hot for a January day, and was worth every step of the way.

Here’s some of my favorite photos from the trip:

To encourage us to go back out there more than once a year, I ended up buying a yearly pass to Big Bend. #amythehikergoeswest was born.

See you next time, Big Bend!
